The One Where I Start Playing with Amazon

So with the new blog site, comes lots of new features. Today I'd like to talk about the little buttons on the side. Specifically the Amazon banner. We have been a casual Amazon user for many years now. It started with the free Kindle for PC App, and moved then to a Kindle, and multiple book and ebook purchases. And then I was introduced to the rest of Amazon.

Did you know you can buy nearly anything on Amazon?! I started searching for all sorts of stuff. Swimming pools, nose flutes, or even a long arm quilting machine.  Well, I say I searched for. There are only one of those that I actually drooled over looked for.  And then I was shown the mother of all departments. Grocery and Food. Oh. My. Word. Did you know you can really, honestly grocery shop from Amazon?!  I promise, I heard a choir singing when I discovered this!! And nearly always, the price, even with shipping, is better than my local grocer. So when I make my kids new favorite breakfast, Museli Pancakes, I can just head to my pantry that I am stocking through the MAIL! Bob's Red Mill Old Country Style Muesli, 40-Ounce Bags (Pack of 4).  My all time favorite tea? Harney and Sons Classic Tea Sachet in Tin, Hot Cinnamon Spice, 20 Count, yes they have it too. There are numerous Organic and Natural foods as well. I am slightly overwhelmed at the choices there are! But each month, I am beginning to put back a certain amount of budgeted money to spend on groceries through Amazon. 

And of course, there is always the wonderful stand by of books. Oh how we love a good book in our house!  I will be doing a few posts on great books for children, young girls and boys, and teenage girls and boys. And I will be sure to link to some of our favorites for your convenience. But to be fair, any link I post, will benefit me as well. As an affiliate, I do recieve a small amount of earnings based on the referral.  But I see it as a win-win situation!
